Works Without Damaging Skin Surface
The Medlite 4 laser works non-ablatively (i.e. does not remove any skin). It works beneath the surface of the skin stimulating collagen production. As the deeper skin tissues are heated, they remodel producing improvement in skin texture, tone, wrinkling and pores.
Advanced Laser Technology Yields Results
Lasers work to treat skin conditions by producing a single wavelength (color) of light that is absorbed by pigment. The Medlite 4 uses a computer to control the wavelengths so that the right wavelength is used for each situation.
For instance, a yellow pulsed light is used to correct such conditions as red or wine colored birthmarks, enlarged blood vessels, scars from acne, rosacea or any reddened area of the face (such as a red nose caused by alcoholism.) It can also be used to treat stretch marks.
The green colored laser light is used to correct scars and marks that have a brownish hue to them such as freckles and age spots.
The ruby red laser is used for tattoo removal, age spots, freckles and for general facial rejuvenation.

Quick Treatment With No Lengthy Recovery, No Side Effects
The Medlite 4 laser emits very short flashes of light called pulses. The impact of the energy from the powerful pulse of light is similar to the snap of a thin rubber band on the skin.
The laser treatment is quick and requires no downtime – you can immediately return to your normal activities
There are no side effects, such as bruising or excessive skin irritation, and topical anesthetics are not necessary. The only sensation is that of a warming of the deeper skin.
Progressive Improvement Seen With Each Treatment
Multiple treatments are needed for optimal results and you can expect to see progressive but subtle improvement after each treatment Depending on the individual circumstances, 3 to 5 treatments are initially recommended at 3-4 week intervals.
Treatment Enhances Results of Other Treatments, Too
Stimulation of collagen remodeling from the inside-out with this non-ablative laser enhances the results of the other laser treatments. Skin care products that also promote collagen production are recommended to be used concurrently with this treatment program to enhance treatment results.
